Events

At Ethel’s Educational Express Child Development Center LLC, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Our events are designed to engage children in hands-on activities, encourage social interaction, and make learning enjoyable. Each event is carefully planned to provide a safe, positive, and stimulating environment where children can explore, create, and grow. Families are always welcome to participate and celebrate these special moments with their children.

• School Picture Day

  School Picture Day is a chance for families to capture lasting memories of their child’s growth and milestones. Each child will have individual and group photos taken in a safe and comfortable setting. Parents can purchase keepsake prints to treasure for years to come.

• Field Trips

  With parental permission, our children participate in local field trips that support classroom lessons. These outings give children opportunities to explore new places, practice social skills, and experience hands-on learning outside the classroom. Safety and supervision are always our highest priorities.

• Fun Days

  We schedule Fun Days throughout the year to celebrate learning through play. Children enjoy themed activities, creative games, and interactive projects that encourage teamwork and imagination. Each Fun Day is carefully planned to be both exciting and educational.

• Read-A-Book Day

  Reading is an important part of early learning. On Read-A-Book Day, children bring their favorite story to share with friends and teachers. The day includes storytelling, group reading circles, and activities that inspire a love of books and language.

• Summer Beach Day

  To celebrate summer, we host a Summer Beach Day filled with water play, sand activities, and outdoor games. Children enjoy safe, supervised fun while learning about summer weather, water safety, and seasonal themes.

• Holiday Celebration

  Our Holiday Celebration brings children and families together for festive activities, music, and crafts. Each classroom participates in age-appropriate projects that highlight the spirit of giving, kindness, and togetherness during the holiday season.

• Birthday Celebration

  We love making every child feel special on their birthday. Parents may provide treats (with prior approval) while the class celebrates with songs, games, and group activities. Birthday Celebrations are a wonderful way to encourage friendship and positive social interactions.

• Graduation Ceremony

  Our Graduation Ceremony honors the achievements of children moving on to Kindergarten. Families are invited to join us for a program that highlights what the children have learned, with songs, performances, and recognition of each child’s growth. This milestone is a proud moment for both families and teachers.
